GURGAON: The Municipal Corporation of Manesar (MCM) commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg on Monday directed the officials to take stringent action against the operators of illegal septic tankers in Manesar.
Garg said that the operators will have to register their vehicles at the MCM office. This is to check illegal disposal of sewage in the area. He gave these directions during a meeting with former sarpanches and RWAs of Manesar in the city on Monday.
“The commissioner said in the meeting that it is mandatory for the septic tanker operators to register with MCM. The operators will have to mention their registration numbers on their tankers. The commissioner also said that the traffic police will be asked to take action against the unauthorised septic tankers, which don’t have registration number mentioned over them,” read the statement issued by MCM.
