Rajkot: Cyberhack Suresh Soni has about 47,000 followers on social media and he projects himself as the protector of the Hindu religion. Soni had allegedly stolen data of 15 lakh women customers from an online lingerie company to extort money from them. After cyber theft, he even posted some data online and claimed that it belonged to women of a specific religious community and that the data was sold in the international market. Soni is out on bail in this case. Sony has a bachelor’s degree in computer application and he had previously worked in Kuwait. Investigators said he even projected himself as a volunteer of the Ahmedabad cybercrime unit. tnn
