GUNTUR: Senior TDP leader and former legislator Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao alleged on Tuesday that YSRCP government was trying to ascertain that party supremo Chandrababu Naidu is away from the public till the completion of next assembly elections.
Rao alleged that the Andhra Pradesh government has readied another two-three cases to keep Naidu behind the bars.
He warned of serious consequences if YSRCP did not amend its “dictatorial approach” against the opposition leaders.
He said that the CM had implicated TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in a false case without any evidence.
He, however, said that TDP was not scared of such conspiracies as the people are behind Naidu.
Speaking to the media in Guntur district on Tuesday, Rao said that the days for YSRCP rule are numbered as people are ready to teach CM YSR Jaganmohan Reddy a lesson.
“YSRCP has been making false allegations that Naidu has been surviving by managing the systems. Jagan has been on the bail for the past decade without facing the trail. Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy escaped without going to jail in his uncle’s murder case. It clearly shows as to who is better at managing the systems to escape the law,” fumed Rao.
He said that YSRCP was scared of Naidu’s district tours and Lokesh’s Yuvagalam padayatra and resorted to such acts.
Rao dared chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to take up padayatra if he had guts to face the people. He said that the Naidu government provided jobs to over 70,000 people by providing training through skill development corporation.
He wanted to know how crime was to provide training and help youth get jobs. He criticized minister Roja for distributing sweets when Naidu was sent to prison.
