Honor 90 5G: Price, offers and availability
The smartphone will be available for sale in three colours – Emerald Green, Diamond Silver and Midnight Black from September 18. Honor 90 5G will be available across Amazon and retail channels. The smartphone will come in two storage variants 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB priced at Rs 37,999 and Rs 39,999, respectively.
HonorTech is also offering discounts on select bank cards and exchanges that will bring down the effective price of the smartphones to Rs 27,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant and Rs 29,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant.
Customers purchasing the Honor 90 5G smartphone can avail of an instant discount of Rs 3,000 for transactions done with credit cards, debit cards and EMI from ICICI and SBI Bank cards. Additionally, buyers who are willing to exchange their old smartphones can also avail of an extra discount of Rs 2,000.
Moreover, users will also be able to avail of a no-cost EMI for up to 9 months from all banks and Bajaj Finserv cards, coupled with a bundle deal of Honor TWS/goodies worth Rs 5000, at no additional cost. As part of the bundle deal, users will also receive a 30W Type-C charger that’s compatible with the device free of cost.
Honor 90 5G: Key specs and features
Honor 90 5G sports a design that is inspired from on luxury jewelry that weighs 183 grams and is 7.8mm thick. The smartphones also has a hardened curved display that Honor claims can withstand multiple falls. Honor 90’s rear camera module features Dual Ring Design that has a rounded contours.
The smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch quad-curved floating display that offers a 2664×1200 resolution, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and up to 1.07 billion colours. The panel also supports a peak HDR brightness of 1600 nits, that offers on-screen readability even under bright lights. It boasts the industry’s highest Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Dimming frequency of 3840Hz which ensures less strain on users eyes. The 120Hz display also supports HDR10+ and HDR certifications from Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
Honor 90 comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition chipset, which is backed by up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The smartphone also supports virtual RAM of up to 7GB on the top variant.
For photography, the smartphone houses a triple rear camera setup that includes a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide and macro camera with a 112-degree field of view and a 2MP depth camera. Honor 90 also sports a 50 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery that promises up to 19.5 hours of video streaming. Honor 90 will run MagicOS 7.1 based on the Android 13 OS.
