Janasena TDP Alliance: Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan finalise alliance with TDP for AP elections 2024 | Vijayawada News – Times of India

VIJAYAWADA: In a major political development Telugu Desam and JanaSena have tied an alliance and decided to contest 2024 general elections together.
JanaSena chief Pawan Kalyan announced the decision after meeting TDP supremo N Chandra babu Naidu at Rajamahendravaram Central prison in Vijayawada on Thursday.
Pawan Kalyan along with Nara Lokesh and Nandamuri Balakrishna met Chandrababu Naidu during Mulakat time at prison and discussed the latest political developments in the state.
Pawan Kalyan addressing media at Central prison said that he differed with a few policy decisions taken by Naidu, but he doesn’t have any personal rivalry with him.
“I’m the one who opposed Naidu’s policies after 2014. But his vision is ahead of us. Naidu was arrested in a baseless skill development scam and it is a clear example of vendetta politics. They are using the police force and trying to obstruct me from reaching my party office. I never thought of announcing an alliance early, but situations created by YSRCP forced me to make my decision. Janasena-TDP will contest the next election together and defeat YSRCP,” Pawan Kalyan said.
Pawan Kalyan asked higher officials of Andhra Pradesh to be cautious while registering baseless cases against JanaSena and TDP leaders. Pawan said that every official will be made accountable for their acts after six months.
Pawan said that YSRCP had invited him to a battle and he was ready to prove himself in that battle.
Pawan later consoled TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhubaneswari at Rajahmundry.
