Vadodara: A 30-year-old man died on Wednesday night after meeting with an accident near Ampad village. Nilesh Padhiyar was driving his motorbike when a stray dog crossed his path.
Padhiyar tried to avoid hitting the dog but he slipped and suffered grievous injuries. He was rushed to SSG Hospital where he died during the treatment. He had met with a similar accident about 1.5 years ago and suffered severe injuries on his leg.

50-year-old man dies of snakebite
A 50-year-old man named B Bhima Rao died in Srikakulam district after being bitten by a snake at night. Rao passed away while receiving treatment at a government hospital in Tekkali. In another incident, a 14-year-old girl in Bhopal died by suicide by hanging herself. No suicide note was found, and the reason for her action is still unknown. Her mother discovered her hanging when she returned home from a temple.

A four-year-old Labrador Retriever sniffer dog named Raja, who had been serving the Coimbatore rural police for the past three years, passed away on Thursday due to a lung problem. Despite treatment, the dog did not respond and was given a police honor burial at the Sulur police station premises on Friday. The carcass was wrapped in a cloth, adorned with a garland, and received tributes from police officials who saluted and gave it a 21-gun salute.
