HYDERABAD: Two persons were arrested on Friday by Medipally police for allegedly raping a minor girl. Police said that the offence took place on Thursday. The 14-year-old victim was allegedly lured by two men, who took her into the bushes where she was raped.
The accused also threatened the girl not to disclose it to her parents, and dropped the girl at her house. As the girl appeared sick, her parents questioned her as to what had happened. When they asked her repeatedly, she disclosed that the accused had raped her.
“Both the accused stay near her house and since she knew them, she went with them after they called her,” police said.
A case was registered against the accused for violation of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Police said that the accused were later taken into custody and arrested.
