207-hours-long Cleanliness Drive Begins | – Times of India



Kanpur: Kanpur Municipal corporation on Saturday evening launched a 207-hours-long city cleaning campaign to observe the 154th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi
The campaign was inaugurated by the Mayor Pramila Pandey in presence of officials of Municipal corporation from zonal office of zone -5. According to the mayor the sanitary workers will work in two shifts and cleaning work would continue round the clock.The first shift workers would be replaced by the second shift and second shift workers would be replaced by first shift workers.As many as 10 sanitary workers would work in each shift. The 207 hours long cleaning drive would conclude on October 2,2023 at 9 am. TNN

No immediate plans to shift GVMC office, say officials

543 shifted to safety in district

Railway station entrance to be shifted
Ernakulam Junction railway station in Kochi is undergoing redevelopment, resulting in changes to the station premises. The main entrance will be closed and a new entrance will be opened near the RMS office. Vehicle parking facilities will be shifted to below the Kochi Metro viaduct, with designated areas for two-wheelers and cars. Ticket counters and the cloakroom will also be relocated.
