Civil Military Liaison Meeting Reassures Mutual Help | Coimbatore News – Times of India



Coimbatore: Air Commodore Vivart Singh spoke on the growing importance of the Air Force Station at Sulur from the national security point of view at the civil military liaison meeting that was held here on Friday.
While stressing on the importance of a healthy civil military liaison, Singh, Air Officer Commanding, Sulur Air Force Station, highlighted the support they had rendered to the civil administration in the past and assured that all possible assistance would continue in future as well.
Officials with the Sulur station explained the efforts being carried out to ensure a good flight safety environment. Issues related to the airfield environment, including waste management in the close vicinity of the runway and other aspects affecting flight safety, were discussed.
District collector Kranthi Kumar Pati assured all possible support from the district administration and stressed on a healthy lateral communication between the officials. District superintendent of police V Badrinarayanan said the state police would render all possible assistance.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) in India is launching a scheme to support civil service aspirants in achieving their dreams of becoming IPS and IAS officers. The scheme will provide training, guidance, accommodation, and financial support to 100 selected candidates. The top 100 ranked Union and Maharashtra Public Service Commission (UPSC/MPSC) aspirants will be eligible for the benefits. The initiative has been welcomed by trainers and students, who believe it will help talented but financially disadvantaged students. The PMC aims to promote competitive exams and is also exploring corporate social responsibility funds for the scheme.
