Mysuru: Administrative officer of Maharaja’s College V Shanmugam on Sunday regretted that India still remains a developing country without much development even today. Upper classes have benefited from the economic policies of the nation but the oppressed classes are left behind, he said.
According to him, Dalit leadership in the nation needs to speak up. He was speaking at a seminar on “The Poona Pact, Then and Now” organized by BR Ambedkar Research and Extension Centre of the University of Mysore at Manasagangothri.
