PUNE: Three men allegedly decamped with 200 smartphones and cash, collectively worth Rs 53.1 lakh, from a store in Kalakruti housing society in Dahanukar Colony between September 23 and 24.
“Images of the trio, reaching the store in a sedan car, have been captured in CCTV cameras. The footage shows two men with faces covered breaking the shutter and glass door locks of the store before getting back in the car and driving away towards Paud Phata,” senior inspector Hemant Patil of the Kothrud police said.
“The incident came to light after a newspaper vendor found the shutter locks broken. We are analyzing the footage and working on clues to establish the routes that the burglars took before and after the crime,” Patil added.
