JAIPUR: Community Health Officers (CHOs) gathered from different parts of the state at Shaheed Smarak in Jaipur on Wednesday demanding regularisation of their services, revision of pay grade to Rs 4,800, me rger of salary and incentive.
Leader of the CHOs, Bharat Beniwal, said the protest will continue and if the government does not fulfill their demand, they will intensify their protest.
Ophthalmology assistants too protested at Shahid Smarak demanding from the government to resolve the discrepancy in their pay, approve allowances, promotions, creation of new posts, and demanding release of the list of 117 new selected eye assistants. Besides, nurses are threatening to resume their protest again as their demands have not been fulfilled.
