Rain Likely To Recede From State From Oct 2 | Ahmedabad News – Times of India

AHMEDABAD: There are slim chances of rainfall in Gujarat after October 2, mentioned the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast.
While Amdavadis sweltered through a humid Friday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 33.5°C, 2.1 degrees less than normal.
No major system is likely to cover the state and light rains can be experienced in some parts of south Gujarat and coastal Saurashtra on Saturday and Sunday.

The Meteorological Department’s Bhopal circle confirmed that a monsoon trough and another trough were bringing rain to various areas of Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal is expected to have a cloudy sky with moderate to heavy showers and the possibility of thunderclaps on Sunday, with temperatures around 28 degrees Celsius during the day and 23 degrees Celsius at night. An orange alert has been issued for several districts in the state.
