KOLKATA: CM Mamata Banerjee on Saturday asked heads of all municipal corporations, municipalities and panchayats to keep a close vigil on the dengue situation ahead of the festive season. In a virtual meeting on dengue management on Saturday, the CM has asked to monitor the preparedness following enhanced rainfall warning in the state.
Chief secretary HK Dwivedi, along with senior officials like secretaries of health, irrigation, PWD,PHE, urban development, panchayat, disaster management and DMs, SPs and CMOHs attended the meeting. She has also urged for proper treatment and testing in all hospitals. The CM wanted the control room to start functioning at the district level and KMC on a 24X7 basis.
