Teacher, On Way To Join Job, Killed Along With Brother In Dholpur | – Times of India

Jaipur: A man, who had left his home to begin his first government job, lost his life, along with his brother, early on Saturday morning when their motorcycle was hit by a truck in Bari area of Dholpur.
During the incident, the truck also caught fire, and one of the brothers, trapped beneath it, was fatally burned.
The incident took place around 5am near gaushala, located on NH-11 (B), when the victim, identified as Vijay (26), was en route to join his job as a grade 3 teacher for the first time in Gangapur city. His brother Akash (22) was riding the motorcycle, and they had left home around 4am. Both victims were residents of Sundarpur under Sadar police station in Dholpur.
A police official reported, “Both brothers succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Vijay passed away due to severe head injuries, while the younger brother was trapped underneath the truck, which subsequently caught fire. Police arrived, recovered the bodies, and, after placing them in the mortuary, informed the family.” Family members shared that Vijay had scored good marks in REET level-1 and was the first in their family of five siblings to secure a government job. The younger brother was also preparing for competitive exams.

In a separate incident in Dholpur, six youths were swept away in the Chambal River and three were rescued. Two people also died in rain-related incidents in Dahod district, Gujarat.
