CALANGUTE: Two people from Karnataka were arrested by Calangute police on Saturday for allegedly attempting to murder a police constable during a narcotics raid on Friday night.
The accused have been identified as Sundeep Kumar, 26, a native of Andhra Pradesh currently residing in Bengaluru, and Vasant Devendra Madival, 32, a native of Karwar.
The incident occurred on Friday night at Gauravaddo, Calangute, when the police were conducting a narcotics raid.
