Belagavi: CM Siddaramaiah will be visiting Belagavi city on Tuesday to attend the 9th national convention of Shepherd India International (SII). The vehicles coming from different directions to Belagavi to attend the event have been asked by by the police department to park them in following locations and adhere to directions.
Parking facilities
Vehicles coming from Nippani, Athani, Chikodi, Sankeshwar, Yamakanmaradi and Kakati to the event should drop the passengers at near Srinagar Garden in Shivbasav Nagar and park at Hindalco stadium.
Vehicles coming from Gokak and Kanabargi should park at SB Balekundri Engineering College stadium, moving through Ashok Nagar.
Vehicles from Bagalkot, Ramdurg and Yargatti side should park at KPTCL parking, moving through Kanakadas Circle and Ashok Nagar.
Vehicles from Vengurla, Sawantwadi and Sulaga should park at the open space in Sadashiv Nagar, opposite Reddy Bhavan, moving through Bauxite Road and Hanuman Nagar Road.
The vehicles coming from Khanapur, Karwad and Haliyal should park at Sardar’s high school ground.
Road diversion for buses
All KSRTC buses heading towards Chikodi, Nippani, Yargatti, Bagalkot, Vijayapura and Gokak should join the National Highway-48 via Ashok Circle and Lakeview Hospital.
Buses heading towards Hubballi, Dharwad, Bailhongal, Savadatti, Kittur and Hirebagewadi from central bus terminus should move through Old PB Road and Alarwad service road.
Buses heading towards Khanapur from the central bus terminus should pass through Market police station, Sangolli Rayanna Circle, Channamma Circle and College Road.
All ambulances heading towards KLE Hospital will be allowed through Kolhapur Circle.

A suspect named Nitin Raut has been arrested for allegedly damaging eight cars in Nashik. The incident occurred in three different areas of the city. The suspect had an argument with someone and was angry about their parking habits. He demanded money and threatened to damage their vehicle. This is the third incident of vehicle damage in the area.
