Pune: Bank of Maharashtra appointed Pradeep Kumar Srivastava as chief technology officer (CTO). The appointment was effective from Thursday, September 28. Prior to joining the bank, he held the position of vice president and lead enterprise architect at Barclays Global Technology Centre in Pune. Revenue dept to evict CPM offices, bank
The revenue department controlled by the CPI has instructed the Idukki district collector to take action against two CPM offices and a cooperative bank controlled by the CPM in Adimali town. The land revenue commissioner has stated that steps should be taken to evict these encroachments. The CPM offices and the bank are among 57 illegal constructions that the high court has ordered action against. In addition, there are 169 more encroachments that have been submitted to the court. The CPI has been critical of the LDF government’s governance.
