Ludhiana: Five principals who went to attend a five-day training programme at the National Institute of Education (NIE) in Singapore are back in the city with brimming new ideas to enhance the quality of education in the region.
During their stay in Singapore, the principals — Manjeet Kaur from GSSS Tahli Sahib, Balwinder Kaur from GSSS PAU, Amandeep Singh from GSSS Karir Sahib Littar , Harneet Bhatia from GSSS Panj Graian and Jagdish Singh from GSSS Alamgir — had the opportunity to engage in intensive workshops and collaborative sessions with educators. Principal secy to PM visits BLW, inspects workshop
PK Mishra, Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, visited Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) and inspected various workshops. Mishra observed the production process and technical aspects of railway engine manufacturing, including the loco driver cab. BLW’s General Manager, Basudev Panda, provided him with detailed information about ongoing projects and manufacturing facilities. Senior officials from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and BLW were also present during the visit.
